Argentina Visa for UAE Residents

The citizens of the UAE do not require a visa to travel to Argentina for entertainment and leisure purposes, but UAE residents who are not citizens need a visa for such Argentina tours. The Argentina visa process is convenient and less time-consuming whether you hold a passport from Bangladesh or India. 

Recent updates in the visa policy of 2024 state that an applicant must apply through the Argentinian embassy in the country. However, one cannot get a visa if he does not follow the proper application process and provide the required documents. Types of Visa for UAE Residents  

  • Tourist Visa
  • Business Visa
  • Work Visa

1. Tourist Visa

UAE citizens are not required to apply for a tourist visa, but if you are a resident of UAE who does not hold citizenship, you must apply to the Argentinian consulate. The duration of the stay is 90 days and extensions are possible if you present a legit reason and pay the visa extension fees. However, the tourist visa does not allow visitors to engage in business and employment activities. 

Requirements of Argentinian Tourist Visa for UAE Residents  

  • UAE Residence Visa: An intended tourist must hold a UAE residence visa that is valid for at least 3 months in the future. 
  • Valid Passport: An intended tourist must hold a passport that is valid for the further 3 months at least and should have 2 blank pages. 
  • Travel Insurance: An intended tourist must enroll in the travel insurance program that is supported by a certified insurance company. 
  • Clean Crime History: An intended tourist must have a crime-free background. 
  • Proof of Accomodation: An applicant must have reserved a room in a hotel in Argentina before he travels to the country and he has to prove it to the Argentinian Embassy by sharing room reservation details. 
  • Photograph: An applicant must provide 2 to 3 photographs of 2×2 inches with a two-colored background. 
  • NOC: An applicant must hold a Non-Objection Certificate from his company salary mentioned and addressed to the Argentina Embassy. 
  • Proof of Sufficient Funds: An intended tourist must provide a bank statement of his account that contains information on the past months’ transactions in order to prove that he holds sufficient funds. 
  • Proof of Travel: An applicant must provide details of his travel from the arrival date to his exit by showing his flight tickets to the embassy. 
  • Visa Application: An intended tourist must prove that he has applied for the visa and paid due charges. 

Visa Application Process 

Step 1: Go to the official website of the Argentina Embassy website to apply for a visa.

Step 2: Select a tourist visa and then fill out the visa application form that is available on the website.  

Step 3: Upload all the documents with the application form which are listed above. 

Step 4: Review your visa application carefully and if you spot something missing or should be changed, re-enter your personal information. 

Step 5: Pay the Argentina visa application fee that ranges from 250 AED to 350 AED depending upon the type of tourist visa you select. 

Step 6: Save the receipt of paid dues.

Step 7: Appear in the interview when appointed and if you pass it, you can collect the visa. 

2. Business Visa

A business visa is designed for people who are interested in coming to Argentina and engaging in business meetings or organizing business conferences. A business visa does not allow residents of the UAE to initiate a new business on the land of Argentina. The duration of the business visa is 90 days and extensions are possible if you follow a legal process. 

Requirements of Argentina Business Visa for UAE Residents  

  • UAE Residence Visa: An applicant must prove that he is a resident of the UAE by providing a UAE resident visa that is valid for at least 3 months. 
  • Valid Passport: An applicant must have a passport that is valid for 6 months in order to get an Argentina business visa 
  • Travel Insurance: A business visa is issued if an applicant proves that he has enrolled in the travel insurance program from an insurance company that is registered and working under the guidance of the UAE government. 
  • Clean Crime History: An applicant must provide a police clearance certificate that proves the applicant has never been engaged in criminal activities before. 
  • Proof of Accomodation: An applicant for an Argentina business visa must provide the details of his accomodation, such as the name of the hotel and the room number as well as the number of hotels in which he will stay during the business tour. 
  • Photograph: An applicant must provide 2×2 inches photographs with a two-colored background and only 2 to 3 numbers of photographs are required. 
  • Employer Letter: If the applicant is invited by an employer, he must provide proof of the invitation by sending a copy of the letter to the embassy along with the visa application form 
  • Proof of Sufficient Funds: An applicant is required to provide his past few months’ bank statements in order to prove that he holds sufficient funds to sponsor his business trip. 
  • Proof of Travel: An applicant is required to provide proof of travel, such as his flight ticket copy in order to inform the embassy about the duration of his tour. 
  • Visa Application: An applicant is required to apply for the visa and hold a receipt of the visa application paid dues.

Application Process

Step 1: Visit the Consulate General of Argentina in order to get a visa application form. 

Step 2: Fill out the application form for the visa and signatures on the dedicated sections. 

Step 3: Once the application has been completed, review all the information you provided. 

Step 4: Attach all the documents with the application and submit it. 

Step 5: Pay the visa application fee and save its receipt for future use. 

Step 6: Appear in the interview on the scheduled day.  

Step 7: If you pass the interview, you will get an Argentine business visa. 

3. Work Visa

The work visa is for people who are planning to pursue their financial careers in Argentina. Whether you are a UAE resident or citizen, you are required to apply for a work visa; otherwise, you cannot travel and start a job in Argentina. The process of visa takes 25 days and it is recommended to apply 45 days before you intend to move to Argentina. 

Requirements of Argentina Business Visa for UAE Residents  

  • UAE Residence Visa: An intended employee must hold a UAE residence visa that is valid for a further 3 months. 
  • Valid Passport: An intended employee must have a passport that is valid for a further 6 months and it should have two blank pages.   
  • Marriage Certificate or Divorce Decree: If the intended employee is married and moving to Argentina with his partner, then he must provide a verified marriage certificate, or if the applicant is divorced, then he must submit the divorce decree. 
  • Degree Certificate: An intended employee must provide his academic record, including copies of his degrees to the embassy. 
  • Affidavit: An intended employee must provide an affidavit to prove that he has no international police record. 
  • Clean Crime History: An intended employee must provide police clearance that reflects the employee has never been involved in criminal activities. 
  • Birth Certificate: An intended employee must provide his birth certificate 
  • Proof of Accomodation: An intended employee must provide proof of his accomodation such as the number of apartments, name of hotel, address, and city. 
  • Photograph: An intended employee must provide 2×2 inches images with a two-colored background and only 2 photographs are required. 
  • Employer Letter: An intended employee must provide the details of his employer as well as share a copy of the invitation letter sent by his employer. 
  • Work Permit: An intended employee must hold an Argentinian work permit.  
  • Proof of Sufficient Funds: An intended employee must show the record of his past transactions through the bank in order to understand whether he has sufficient funds to sponsor his visit to Argentina. 
  • Visa Application: An applicant must have applied for the visa and hold a receipt of paid dues. 
  • Medical certificate: An applicant must provide a medical certificate that is verified by a medical doctor to ensure that you do not suffer from any major disease.

Application Process

Step 1: The process will begin from the side of your employer by registering your name in the National Immigrant Sponsors Register; simply put, he will arrange an entry permit for you.

Step 2: The employer later will apply for a work permit on your behalf. 

Step 3: Your entry permit will be sent to the Argentina consulate in UAE.  

Step 4: You need to apply for a work visa at the Argentina consulate in UAE through an application. 

Step 5: Fill out the application form, sign it, and attach the required documents with the application. 

Step 6: Submit the application and pay the work visa fee. 

Step 7: Appear in an interview and if you pass it, a work visa will be issued by the Argentina consulate. 

Note: You need to translate a few documents into Spanish before you submit the application for an Argentinian visa.
