A vast number of the workers in UAE travel to Belarus due to the job opportunities in this eastern European country. If you hold a UAE passport, you can travel to Belarus without a visa for a short period.

According to the 2024 updates of the visa policies, travelers cannot leave money in the documents; otherwise, the forces will take extreme action against them.

1. Tourist Visa 

If you hold a passport from the UAE, you do not need to apply for a visa as you can travel without any entrance permit. However, people who hold the passport from other countries must apply for a tourist visa if they are traveling to Belarus for leisure purposes. The duration of the visa is 90 days, but it is extendable to 180 days if you follow a legal process of extending visa duration. You cannot pursue any job or start a business during these days in Belarus. 

Requirements of Belarus Tourist Visa for UAE Residents

  • UAE Residence Visa: An applicant for a tourist visa must hold a residence visa of UAE that should be valid for 3 months.
  • Valid Passport: An applicant for a tourist visa must have a passport that should be valid for 6 months with two blank pages.
  • Travel Insurance: An applicant for a tourist visa must enroll in a travel insurance program that a registered company in the UAE offers.
  • Proof of Accomodation: An applicant for a tourist visa must provide proof of accomodation and other details, such as the number of hotels in which he will stay in various cities.
  • Photograph: An applicant for a tourist visa must provide 2 images of passport size.
  • NOC: An applicant for a tourist visa must submit a Non-Objection Certificate from the employer or sponsor.
  • Proof of Sufficient Funds: An applicant for a tourist visa must have AED 41,787 in his account and provide the details of funds to the embassy.
  • Proof of Travel: An applicant for a tourist visa gives proof of travel by showing the tickets for both departure from UAE to Belarus and then return to the UAE.
  • Visa Application: A tourist visa applicant must apply for the visa and hold the receipt of paid dues.

Visa Application Process

  • Step 1: Carry all these above documents to the Belarus Consulate in UAE.
  • Step 2: Fill out the application form for a tourist visa and then attach the required documents.
  • Step 3: Review it before you submit it and then pay the application fee.
  • Step 4: Go for the interview at the Belarus Consulate in Dubai.
  • Step 5: If you pass the interview, you will get a Belarus visa.

2. Business Visa

A tourist visa is for pleasure purposes, but if you are visiting Belarus for business meetings or to arrange a conference of business then you must apply for the Belarus business visa. It is a permit that allows you to engage in business activities, but it does not mean that you can initiate a business on the land of Belarus, as you need a work permit. The duration of a business visa is 90 days and one can extend to 190 days if he has a legit reason to stay longer in the country. 

Requirements of Belarus Tourist Visa for UAE Residents

  • UAE Residence Visa: A business person must hold a UAE residence visa that should be valid for 3 months or more.
  • Valid Passport: You cannot travel to Belarus as a business person without a passport that is valid for 6 months.
  • Travel Insurance: A business person must submit the details of his travel insurance program that can provide financial support in case any mishap happens.
  • Clean Crime History: A business person must provide a police clearance certificate that is issued by the UAE authorities to ensure the Belarus embassy that he has never been engaged in criminal activities.
  • Proof of Accomodation: A business person must arrange the accomodation before traveling to Belarus and provide the details of his accomodation to the Belarus authorities, such as the name of the hotel and the room number.
  • Photograph: A business person must provide 2 passport-size photographs.
  • NOC: A business person must hold a Non-Objection Certificate issued by an employer or sponsor to ensure the embassy of Belarus that he is allowed to exit UAE.
  • Proof of Sufficient Funds: A business person must submit a bank statement of the past few months to prove that he has sufficient funds to sponsor his trip.
  • Proof of Travel: A business person must provide the tickets for arrival and departure from Belarus.
  • Invitation Letter: A business person must attach a copy of the invitation letter with the visa application.
  • Proof of Business Activities: A business person must give all the details of his business and information about planned activities he intends to engage in, after reaching Belarus.
  • Visa Application: A business person must apply for the Belarus business visa and hold the receipt of paid dues.

Visa Application Process

  • Step 1: Go to the consulate of Belarus in Dubai.
  • Step 2: Address that you intend to apply for a business visa at the relevant counter.
  • Step 3: Fill out the application form and attach all the documents.
  • Step 4: Submit the application and pay its dues.
  • Step 5: Appear in the interview and if you clear it, you will be able to get a visa of Belarus.

3. Work Visa

If you are looking for employment opportunities in Belarus, you can apply for a work visa which allows you to earn in this Eastern European country for 2 years. A work visa is issued if you provide that the job application is submitted to the employer and he has appointed you an employee; simply put, you have to confirm that you are hired by an employer in Belarus. The duration is 2 years but it may extend depending on the status of the job.

  • UAE Residence Visa: An intended employee must submit a copy of his UAE residence visa.  
  • Valid Passport: An intended employee must hold a passport that is valid for 6 months further in the future.
  • Travel Insurance: An intended employee must have enrolled in an insurance program to handle travel issues.
  • Medical Insurance: An intended employee must have enrolled in a medical insurance program that covers major expenses if the employee gets a medical treatment.

  • Proof of Accomodation: An intended employee must give details of his accomodation, such as the name of the hotel and room number.
  • Appointment Letter: An intended employee must provide a copy of the employment letter along with other documents.
  • Work Permit: An intended employee must hold a work permit that is issued by the Belarus government.
  • Employment Contract: An intended employee must give the details of the contract he has signed with his employer.
  • Company Registration Details: An intended employee has to give all the details of the company that hired him in Belarus.
  • Photograph: An intended employee must provide 2 photographs of passport size.
  • Proof of Sufficient Funds: An intended employee must have sufficient funds to face the basic expenditures of his travel to Belarus.
  • Proof of Travel: An intended employee must provide the details of his travel by showing the tickets of arrival and return.
  • Visa Application: An intended employee must apply for a work visa at the Belarus Consulate in Dubai

Visa Application Process

  • Step 1: After the appointment letter, the employer will apply for a work permit on your behalf.
  • Step 2: The employer will send the work permit as well as an NOC.
  • Step 3: Carry all the documents to the Consulate of Belarus.
  • Step 4: Fill out the application form and attach all the documents with it.
  • Step 5: Pay the application fee and hold its receipt.
  • Step 6: Appear in the interview and collect your visa.
